"Hi, welcome to the Hon Jeh Group website! My name is Khavelashy Kunasegaran and I would like to regale you with a story of my journey in AIA's Elite Academy. My first job after I graduated from university was in the Audit field. After working in an audit firm for a couple of months, I quickly realized that I was slowly losing interest due to the heavy demands, taxing work and the long overtime shifts that would usually drag on into the late AM. I knew immediately that the audit route was not the path for me as I preferred a job with more flexible timing so that I would be able to spend more time with my precious family. Nothing stood out to me at first until one day I noticed an ad by Hon Jeh Group, intrigued with the description, I applied and that was when my journey started. The response was quite fast and within a couple of days, I was invited to the office to attend the preliminary interview. In Elite Lite I was tasked to attend various training sessions. The training sessions were both fun and engaging as I was able to interact and bond with other agents from different agencies and expand my knowledge on the various topics of discussion. I first went into Elite Lite with the mindset to convert to the Elite Pro program within the first three months. To my surprise, I was able to achieve that! With that achievement comes rewards and I am proud to say that I will be going to Bangkok next year! It truly pays off to see all your hard work being recognized. To be honest I used to have a misconception about the insurance industry, I did not understand the importance of it at that time. The more I learn the more confident I am in my decision. I truly believe that I have chosen the right career path that enables me to spend more time with my family as well as being able to assist others in securing their future."
